Welcome to the website of the Land Use Research Foundation of Hawaii, the only Hawaii based organization devoted exclusively to promoting the interests of the development community, particularly in the areas of land use laws, regulations, and public policy.

What LURF does for its Members:

• Engage in research and analysis of land use as it affects the State of Hawaii.
• Consider and deal by all lawful means with common problems involved in the utilization of land as they affect the interests of its members and the people of Hawaii.
• Educate the public and provide a source of information for anyone interested in land use in Hawaii.
• Appear for its members before legislative bodies, public agencies, and other governmental entities in regard to land use matters affecting the development community.
